Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Petty Cash Manager (the "App"), available at this website. By using the App or buying a license you agree to them.

1. The service

The App is a web application for recording petty cash floats, expenses, receipts, approvals and related tax amounts. It runs in your browser and can be installed on your device.

2. Free trial

Each new installation includes a 14-day free trial with full features. When the trial ends, your existing entries remain viewable, exportable and backed up, but adding new entries requires an active license.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

• Licenses are sold as subscriptions billed monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months or yearly, at the prices shown at checkout.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, billing, sales tax and customer service enquiries about payments.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time using the link in your receipt email; your license stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. License

• Each license key is personal to the buyer and may be activated on up to 2 devices.
• You may not share, resell or publish your license key, or attempt to bypass the license check.
• The App checks your license online from time to time. If a subscription ends or a key is disabled, the App returns to view-only mode.

5. Your data and backups

All data you enter is stored locally on your device. We cannot see, recover or restore it. You are responsible for making regular backups using the App's backup feature. Clearing your browser data may delete your entries.

6. Tax and accounting information

Tax names and rates offered by the App are starting points only and may be out of date. You are responsible for checking that the rates and figures you use are correct for your business. The App is a record-keeping tool and does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, or to copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute it except as allowed by law.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update the App and these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
